Unity Fayre
Attended by over 4000 people in 2006 and 2007 the Unity Fayre is a one day annual outdoor fair run by the Alamiyah Institute. The Unity Fayre is dedicated to promoting community cohesion, which seeks to reach out to the wider community to celebrate universal values and offer a unique taste of Muslim culture and creative expression in a fun family format. Taking place during the summer we host activities and entertainment for both young and old alike. To date we have concluded two highly successful fairs at Valentines Park in Ilford (East London) during summer 2006 and 2007. Each year the fair received very positive media coverage.
